The Newman Shield: Ten-Pin Bowling

Ten-pin bowling, as part of the Paul Newman Cup competition. Everyone is welcome, including families.
Who can come
A team competition between the five sections - Gold, Silver, Blue, Red and Keyboard Athletico. Families are welcome too: there will be an adults' competition and a children's competition, so bring them along.
When and where
Thursday 27 August 2026, 11am - 2pm.
Qatar Bowling Federation - Bowling Centre, Al Bidda, near Mannai Roundabout, Doha.
Why
To continue the Cup in the spirit of Paul Newman - competitive team play, physical exercise, and having fun. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
Food
It is hoped a buffet lunch can be provided, for a small cost to those attending.
Cost
Funding has been requested for those who pay into the welfare fund. For everyone else the event will be self-funded, but the cost will be kept to a minimum and depends on how many people come.
Registration
Please register by Sunday 23 August so numbers can be confirmed with the venue.
The form asks whether you are bowling or spectating, and whether you are coming as a team member or family - please answer both, because the lane bookings and the lunch numbers depend on it.
