Code of Conduct
The Paul Newman Cup is competed under the spirit of Paul's own values. All participants are expected to uphold the following at all times.
Results must be genuine. Sandbagging, data manipulation, or unsporting behaviour will result in disqualification.
Regardless of ability, team, or result. This is sport and friendship in equal measure.
The person finishing last still earned their points. Cheer them in.
If a teammate or opponent is struggling, physically or otherwise, stop and help. Paul would have.
When you compete, you carry his name. Make it count.
The Cup is a voluntary activity conducted in each participant's private time, unless an event is specifically designated as part of a rostered formal training day. Participation is at each individual's personal risk. Getting to and from events is your own responsibility, and time spent competing is not recorded on timesheets.
Before your first event: complete the participation declaration (asked for when you join a section), wear appropriate clothing and footwear, follow all instructions from event coordinators and officials, and report any injury or medical concern immediately to the on-site first aider.
